Datuk Mohd Nizam Bin Haji Yahya currently serves as the Secretary and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Majlis Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan (MAIWP). He possesses a strong academic background, holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Shariah from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), conferred in 1995.
Throughout his distinguished career, Datuk Mohd Nizam has been the recipient of several prestigious honours, including the Darjah Pangkuan Seri Melaka (D.P.S.M.), Johan Mahkota Wilayah (J.M.W.), and a Lifetime Achievement Award in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), in recognition of his outstanding contributions to society.
His professional journey is marked by exemplary leadership in zakat management, public welfare development, and Islamic education advancement. Through his visionary direction, he has played a pivotal role in strengthening MAIWP’s position as a key institution in the socio-religious and economic development of the Federal Territories, particularly within Kuala Lumpur.

Datuk Mohd Nizam Bin Haji Yahya kini menjawat jawatan sebagai Setiausaha merangkap Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif (CEO) di Majlis Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan (MAIWP). Beliau memiliki latar belakang akademik yang kukuh dengan Ijazah Sarjana Muda Syariah daripada Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) yang diperoleh pada tahun 1995.
Sepanjang kerjayanya yang cemerlang, Datuk Mohd Nizam telah menerima pelbagai pengiktirafan berprestij termasuk Darjah Pangkuan Seri Melaka (D.P.S.M.), Johan Mahkota Wilayah (J.M.W.), serta Anugerah Pencapaian Sepanjang Hayat dalam Tanggungjawab Sosial Korporat (CSR) sebagai pengiktirafan terhadap sumbangan beliau kepada masyarakat.
Kerjaya beliau menyerlah dalam bidang pengurusan zakat, pembangunan kebajikan masyarakat, dan pemerkasaan pendidikan Islam. Di bawah kepimpinan beliau yang berpandangan jauh, MAIWP terus memperkukuh peranannya sebagai institusi utama dalam pembangunan sosio-agama dan ekonomi di Wilayah Persekutuan, khususnya di Kuala Lumpur.
YBhg. Dr. Ruziah Binti Ghazali is a prominent leader in Malaysia’s Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector, recognized with the Special Award for Master Coach in Education Development from TVETecoUSIM. She advocates for Islamic TVET and supports individuals with disabilities, contributing to the book “Nothing is Impossible – Success Stories of Persons with Disabilities.”
As a scholar and Islamic Woman Entrepreneur, she focuses on women’s and community development and was honored as Tokoh Saidatina Aishah during National Women’s Day in 2021.
Dr. Ruziah holds a PhD in Educational Development from Universiti Putra Malaysia, a Master of Science in Educational Science, and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Islamic Studies from the University of Malaya. She is also a licensed Company Secretary and Tax Agent.
