Job Responsibilities

1. Responsible for assigned duties and reports directly to the Head of the Centre of Excellence.

2. Plans and executes learning and development programmes.

3. Promotes training programmes and the Go-Barakah project.

4. Ensures the quality of training and aligns content with participant needs.

5. Implements strategic planning for the department, including the development of training programmes and consultation modules in line with current market trends. This includes initiatives such as TVET programmes and micro-credential courses registered under HRDC.

6. Assists in managing the department’s daily operations, ensuring smooth implementation of training and consultation activities, and optimising resource utilisation.

7. Supports curriculum development, especially for TVET programmes and micro-credential courses, including planning and expanding training offerings to ensure they are impactful, up-to-date, and aligned with industry advancements and emerging technologies.

8. Manages trainers and consultants, including recruitment, training, and performance monitoring.

9. Builds and maintains strong client relationships by understanding their needs and ensuring satisfaction with the services provided.

10. Conducts evaluations to assess the effectiveness of training and consultation services by analysing participant feedback and performance data to continuously improve service quality.

11. Develops and implements marketing strategies to promote the training centre and consultancy services to potential clients.

12. Assists in managing departmental finances, including expense planning, cost control, and preparation of financial reports for weekly operations meetings, as well as monthly and quarterly reviews.

13. Fosters innovation and continuous improvement in training and consultation methodologies to ensure the department remains relevant and competitive.

14. Ensures all programmes, trainings, and courses are actively promoted and published through social media platforms.

 

Minimum Qualification

1. Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Communication, Business Communication, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the government.

2. Hold professional certifications:
I. HRD Corp Accredited Trainer (TTT)
II. Instructional Design or Adult Learning Certification

3. Have a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in the industry, which is considered an advantage.

4. Demonstrate strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas and information verbally to various audiences.

5. Possess the ability to design engaging training materials using design platforms, effectively engage diverse audiences, and adapt training styles to meet various learning needs.

6. Demonstrate strong soft skills, including confidence, clarity in communication, active listening, organisational skills, and effective time management.

7. Capable of leading with creative and critical thinking skills; possess strong management abilities; committed to teamwork; analytical, flexible, proactive; and able to collaborate effectively with staff at all levels and with external agencies.

8. Knowledgeable and proficient in using computers, particularly Microsoft Office applications.

Dr. Ruziah Binti Ghazali is a prominent leader in Malaysia’s Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector, recognized with the Special Award for Master Coach in Education Development from TVETecoUSIM. She advocates for Islamic TVET and supports individuals with disabilities, contributing to the book “Nothing is Impossible – Success Stories of Persons with Disabilities.”

As a scholar and Islamic Woman Entrepreneur, she focuses on women’s and community development and was honored as Tokoh Saidatina Aishah during National Women’s Day in 2021.

Dr. Ruziah holds a PhD in Educational Development from Universiti Putra Malaysia, a Master of Science in Educational Science, and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Islamic Studies from the University of Malaya. She is also a licensed Company Secretary and Tax Agent.
