Job Responsibilities
  1. Responsible for assisting the Chief Financial Officer in formulating, planning, and implementing the company’s budget, financial forecasts, and long-term financial strategies.
  2. Responsible for reviewing, evaluating, and endorsing operational payment claim documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial policies.
  3. Responsible for reviewing, evaluating, and endorsing departmental procurement applications in line with established procedures and guidelines.
  4. Responsible for supervising, coordinating, and leading projects or assignments related to the development of departmental policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  5. Responsible for reviewing, evaluating, and verifying student financing claims to ensure transparency and compliance with financial regulations.
  6. Responsible for supervising, coordinating, and preparing revenue records and Accounts Receivable reports on a regular basis for monitoring and financial control purposes.
  7. Responsible for supervising, evaluating, and verifying company asset management reporting to ensure adherence to policies and requirements of efficient, accurate, and transparent financial management.
  8. Responsible for assisting in the preparation and presentation of company reports on a regular basis to management and the board.
Minimum Qualification
  1. Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or an equivalent qualification recognised by the government, with relevant working experience in the field of accounting.
  2. Preference will be given to candidates with supervisory experience or six (6) to eight (8) years of working experience in Accounting, Procurement, or Financial Management divisions.
  3. Knowledgeable and proficient in computer usage, particularly in Computerized Accounting applications, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  4. Demonstrated ability to think creatively and critically, with strong management skills, commitment to teamwork, analytical capability, flexible, proactive, and the ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of staff and external agencies.
  5. Ability to prepare and deliver financial reporting presentations clearly, systematically, and effectively.

Dr. Ruziah Binti Ghazali is a prominent leader in Malaysia’s Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector, recognized with the Special Award for Master Coach in Education Development from TVETecoUSIM. She advocates for Islamic TVET and supports individuals with disabilities, contributing to the book “Nothing is Impossible – Success Stories of Persons with Disabilities.”

As a scholar and Islamic Woman Entrepreneur, she focuses on women’s and community development and was honored as Tokoh Saidatina Aishah during National Women’s Day in 2021.

Dr. Ruziah holds a PhD in Educational Development from Universiti Putra Malaysia, a Master of Science in Educational Science, and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Islamic Studies from the University of Malaya. She is also a licensed Company Secretary and Tax Agent.
