Course  Course Description
1. Introduction To Business

 

This course provides an introduction to the fundamental concepts of business management and the diverse activities within the business sector. It is designed to offer a comprehensive understanding of the business system and to equip students with insights into the core components of the business management process.

3. Introduction To Hajj & Umrah

 

This course is designed to equip students with a comprehensive understanding the significance of Hajj and Umrah in Islam, including principles and practices in accordance with Shariah. It also outlines the correct procedures for performing these worship and provides an overview of the management and administration of Hajj and Umrah services in Malaysia.
4. Islamic Management & Development

 

This course enables students to comprehend the role of Islamic management and development from both theoretical and practical perspectives within an organizational context. It also provides a clear understanding of the concepts, objectives, and classifications of management and development across various activities and levels.
5.    The Fundamentals Of Halal And Haram In Islam This course introduces the fundamentals of what is lawful (halal) and forbidden (haram) in Islam, including the classification of products based on the Quran, Sunnah, and interpretations by Islamic scholars (Fuqaha).
Course Course Objective
1.      Introduction To Business Course Learning Outcome (CLO’s)

CLO 1- Explain the goals and the functions performed in business operation. (PLO1, C1)

CLO 2 – Describe management processes, marketing activities, economic environments, business operation, basic financial operations and accounting knowledge. (PLO2, C2)

CLO3 – Discuss entrepreneurship concept, social responsible management practices and the risks involve in business. (PLO4, A2)

CLO1: Articulate the significance and philosophy of Hajj and Umrah, including the structure and administration of related services in Malaysia.

CLO2: Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Hajj and Umrah in accordance with Shariah principles.

CLO3: Accurately explain the proper procedures and practices in the performance of Hajj and Umrah.

4.      Islamic Management & Development

 

CLO1: Identify the fundamental principles in the field of Islamic management and development. (C1, PLO1)

CLO2: Explain the scope of Islamic management and development knowledge within organisational contexts. (C2, PLO2)

CLO3: Critically discuss the application of Islamic management and development practices in alignment with current industry standards. (A2, PLO5)

5.      The Fundamentals Of Halal And Haram In Islam CLO1: Identify relevant Quranic verses, hadiths, and scholarly interpretations pertaining to halal and haram in products and services. (C1, PLO1)

CLO2: Explain the categories of food, beverages, products, and services prohibited according to the Quran and Sunnah. (C2, PLO2)

CLO3: Analyse the application of halal and haram principles within the manufacturing and service industries. (A2, PLO5)

The minimum entry requirement for all listed Micro-Credentials (MC) courses is 17 years old and above.

DR. RUZIAH BINTI GHAZALI

Board of Director

YBhg. Dr. Ruziah Binti Ghazali is a prominent leader in Malaysia’s Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector, recognized with the Special Award for Master Coach in Education Development from TVETecoUSIM. She advocates for Islamic TVET and supports individuals with disabilities, contributing to the book “Nothing is Impossible – Success Stories of Persons with Disabilities.”

As a scholar and Islamic Woman Entrepreneur, she focuses on women’s and community development and was honored as Tokoh Saidatina Aishah during National Women’s Day in 2021.

Dr. Ruziah holds a PhD in Educational Development from Universiti Putra Malaysia, a Master of Science in Educational Science, and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Islamic Studies from the University of Malaya. She is also a licensed Company Secretary and Tax Agent.
