Job Responsibilities
  1. Conduct lectures and tutorials for students according to the schedule set by the Department.
  2. Guide students through official Department and/or college programs (such as the mentor-mentee program).
  3. Provide academic guidance to students during consultation hours.
  4. Prepare examination questions, carry out marking and grading for relevant subjects in accordance with academic regulations.
  5. Serve as an invigilator for examinations across all programs conducted by the college.
  6. Participate in academic writing and publication activities to strengthen scholarly contributions.
  7. Comply with regulations and standards set by the college, agencies, and professional bodies.
  8. Undertake administrative duties within the Academic & Research Department as required.
  9. Serve on committees established by the Department and/or college for academic development and KPMAIWP initiatives.
  10. Attend meetings of the Academic & Research Department and college.
  11. Engage in activities to promote academic programs.
  12. Participate in community development activities when required.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned from time to time.
Minimum Qualification

Lecturer (Accounting)

  1. Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field recognized by the Government of Malaysia.
  2. Have teaching experience in the relevant field. Experience in industry or professional practice will be an added advantage.
  3. Demonstrate creative and critical thinking skills, strong management abilities, and commitment to teamwork.
  4. Be analytical, flexible, proactive, and able to collaborate with colleagues and external agencies at various levels.
  5. Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office.

DR. RUZIAH BINTI GHAZALI

YBhg. Dr. Ruziah Binti Ghazali is a prominent leader in Malaysia’s Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector, recognized with the Special Award for Master Coach in Education Development from TVETecoUSIM. She advocates for Islamic TVET and supports individuals with disabilities, contributing to the book “Nothing is Impossible – Success Stories of Persons with Disabilities.”

As a scholar and Islamic Woman Entrepreneur, she focuses on women’s and community development and was honored as Tokoh Saidatina Aishah during National Women’s Day in 2021.

Dr. Ruziah holds a PhD in Educational Development from Universiti Putra Malaysia, a Master of Science in Educational Science, and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Islamic Studies from the University of Malaya. She is also a licensed Company Secretary and Tax Agent.
