KPMAIWP RECEIVES RM16,500 CONTRIBUTION FROM AG NUTRITION INTERNATIONAL FOR ASNAF EDUCATION

KUALA LUMPUR, 30 OCTOBER 2025 – MAIWP Professional College (KPMAIWP) received a contribution of RM16,500 for asnaf students from AG Nutrition International during a ceremony held today at Lecture Theater 1, KPMAIWP, Maluri.

The event was jointly organised by AG Nutrition Foundation, Ikhlas.com and KPMAIWP under the ‘AG Cares: Future Ready’ programme, aimed at supporting students from asnaf families.

Present to deliver the contribution was Dato’ Iskandar Halim Sulaiman, Chairman of AG Nutrition International, accompanied by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hj. Mohammad Firdaus Low Abdullah, Chief Executive Officer of KPMAIWP; Imran Ismail, General Manager, Islamic Services & Lifestyle, Ikhlas.com; and the founders of AG Nutrition International, Faiz Salleh and Hafiz Salleh.

A total of 25 KPMAIWP students received cash assistance of RM300 each, while five (5) students were presented with laptops, including international students from Azerbaijan and Cambodia.

In his speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hj. Mohammad Firdaus Low Abdullah, CEO of KPMAIWP, said, “Corporate initiatives like this hold great significance for our students. It reminds them that they are not alone in their journey towards academic success.”

Echoing his sentiment, Imran Ismail stated, “KPMAIWP graduates have demonstrated excellence with the support of initiatives like this. Ikhlas.com believes that such collaborations will continue to inspire students and their families to break free from the cycle of poverty.”

Additionally, AG Nutrition Foundation also contributed RM20,000 to secondary school students represented by the Women and Single Mothers Welfare Association (WITUS). Each secondary school student received RM200, while five (5) foster children under the Ikhlas Untukmu programme were also celebrated with laptop contributions.

In his address, Dato’ Iskandar Halim Sulaiman, Chairman of AG Nutrition International, expressed hope that, “Our contribution today will help nurture future zakat contributors.”
