RAHMAH MADANI RAMADAN MAIWP EVENT: IFTAR WITH STUDENTS OF INSTITUT KEMAHIRAN BAITULMAL (IKB) AND BAITULMAL PROFESSIONAL COLLEGE KUALA LUMPUR (KPBKL), 2025.

KUALA LUMPUR: Students from Baitulmal Professional College Kuala Lumpur (KPBKL) and Institut Kemahiran Baitulmal (IKB) were celebrated at an Iftar event by YB Senator Dato’ Setia Dr. Haji Mohd Na’im bin Haji Mokhtar, the Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Minister of Religious Affairs).

The event was further honoured by the presence of Syed Kamarulzaman Syed Kabeer, Chairman of the Islamic Religious Council of the Federal Territories (MAIWP); Mohd Fauzi bin Abidin, Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Management) of MAIWP; as well as the management from MAIWP’s subsidiaries.

Haji Zuri Zabuddin Budiman, Chairman of the KPBKL, also attended the event to engage with the students, accompanied by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Haji Mohammad Firdaus Low Abdullah, Chief Executive Officer of KPBKL.

During this significant occasion, MAIWP announced the Ramadan & Aidilfitri Assistance totalling RM1.305 million, benefiting 4,250 students from MAIWP’s educational institutions. KPBKL received RM270,000.00 from the total while IKB was allocated RM90,000.00 to support students in preparing for Eid al-Fitr.

YB Senator Dato’ Setia Dr. Haji Mohd Na’im bin Haji Mokhtar also announced that KPBKL and IKB will be merged and will be known as MAIWP Professional College.

Dr. Ruziah holds a PhD in Educational Development from Universiti Putra Malaysia, a Master of Science in Educational Science, and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Islamic Studies from the University of Malaya. She is also a licensed Company Secretary and Tax Agent.
