KUALA LUMPUR, 14 July 2025 – The “Glamorosa Exhibitions and Performances 2025” took center stage in a dazzling showcase of creativity and innovation by the Diploma in Fashion Technology (DTF) students from The Baitulmal Institute of Skills Training (IKB), under MAIWP Professional College (KPMAIWP).
This annual event marked the culmination of the final-year project for DTF students of the 2024–2025 session, who had successfully completed their industrial training. The exhibition highlighted their original and inspiring fashion collections, reflecting modern design trends while demonstrating their technical skills and artistic flair.
A total of 13 exclusive collections were presented, each embodying the students’ creative expression and craftsmanship. These works not only align with current fashion trends but also showcase their unique artistic identity and vision as emerging designers.
The event was officiated by Associate Professor Dr. Haji Mohammad Firdaus Low Abdullah, Chief Executive Officer of KPMAIWP, who also presented awards to the winners of the Best Creative Design category. In his speech, he expressed his pride in the students’ achievements and emphasized that such programs play a vital role in nurturing young talents who will contribute to Malaysia’s growing creative industry.
Accompanying the CEO were Mrs. Nor Azizah binti Abdullah, Principal of IKB; Ts. Rohaya binti Sulong, Deputy Principal and Head of the DTF Program; and Ts. Jamalruddin bin Haji Zamahuri, Head of the Bachelor (Hons) in Fashion Design program, TAR UMT. Their presence added prestige and warmth to the colorful and inspiring event.
More than just a fashion showcase, Glamorosa Exhibitions and Performances 2025 stands as a testament to the dedication, passion, and innovation of IKB students, proving that fashion is not merely about style, but also about artistry, identity, and excellence.
