KUALA LUMPUR, JULY 22, 2026 – The Student Development & Career Division of Kolej Profesional MAIWP (KPMAIWP), in collaboration with the National Population and Family Development Board (LPPKN) of the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur through the KafeTEEN Pudu Youth Centre, successfully organised the Inspirational Talk Programme: Love Begins With Oneself. The event brought together over 120 higher education students from across the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, including participants from KPMAIWP, UTM, UNITAR, UPTM, Breyer College Kuala Lumpur, Goon International College, and the Food Institute College.
The event was officiated by Mr. Mohamad Amzari Bin Aziz, Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Administration & Operations) of KPMAIWP. In his opening address, he highlighted the importance of mental and emotional well-being in fostering a resilient, balanced young generation capable of navigating life’s challenges.
The programme also featured exhibitions and services provided by external agencies, including the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), the National Anti-Drugs Agency (AADK), the KafeTEEN Service, and the Faculty of Health Sciences, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM).
Additionally, the event included three sharing sessions focusing on emotional understanding and management, mental health from a public health perspective, and early prevention and self-protection against various life risks. These sessions aimed to raise awareness among participants regarding the importance of self-care and to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health issues.
KPMAIWP expressed its heartfelt appreciation to LPPKN Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur for their collaboration in hosting this highly beneficial programme. The college also extended its congratulations to the entire organising committee, speakers, facilitators, and strategic partners for their contributions to the success of the event.
